Serendipity Duo
Our first venture into being 'pro'. We played at the Victoria Hotel, Sidmouth and later joined the Ronnie Austin Band. We also competed in the Bass Music competition...

Serendipity Showband
Serendipity was a seven-piece showband and we played at Top Rank in Plymouth for 3 years in the 1970's playing a wide range of music from pop to disco to standards with my arrangements..

1980 - 1988
Razmataz Showband
We moved back to the Southampton area and got a position with a band at Pontins - Razmataz was a 7 pce showband and we backed cabaret and played everything from Glen Miller to Earth Wind and Fire!! Once again I led the band and did the arrangements

Liaison
When my marriage (and the band broke up) I joined a 'pop' band Liaison where I got my first experiece of playing with a computer-based band. (Terrible photo!)
1998 - 2022
Wessex Chordsmen
I was MD and arranger for 12 men from the Winchester area and we performed all around the area in Rest Homes, Shops, and one Christma in JLP in Southampton it was great fun!
2016 - 2019
Goldrush Harmony
After a quiet few years I joined a four pce playing Eagles, CSN etc
Core members Tony Collier, Geoff Chalk and Eddy Hailwood, then me and Yan Webber and later Steve Donovan
Disbanded in 2019 due to pandemic and illness
2021 ....

Eddy and I started writing together 2 years ago and so far we have written over 100 songs.
